Beauty in the Melancholy

It's another cold Mid West morning, with its blustery frigid temperatures. Twenty seven degrees, and it feels like nine; recorded today! Crazy, isn't it? It's funny how the cold, among the varying shades of lifeless color in winter, brings a giggle to my belly. Those few childhood memories arise in their joy and shouting "IT'S SNOWING"! Remember, I'm from the South. The snow was a miracle from God for us!

On a day like today, one could get caught up in its gloominess if they didn't see God in His creation with His stunning artful hand. Views and perspectives are essential for us, Children of God. As I look out my frosty windows, in my gazing, I am pulled into its sea of whitewashed scape, and its naked trees draped in what looks like white satin ribbons.

Behind this masterpiece of a morning in its backdrop of gray is an absolute. The sun is really behind those clouds, and the Son of God... is truly the one that illuminates my mornings! In His radiant beauty... in view, in His LIGHT...we've been given another day to bask in His presence!

With the eyes of our heart wide open, with eternal perspectives, we SEE and KISS the SON!

What a beautiful...GRANDVIEW we've been given!

"It is HE who reveals the profound and hidden things, HE knows what is in the darkness, And the LIGHT dwells with HIM."

Daniel 2:22
